Storytime at the Library

Join us for our storytime series featuring Fractured Fairytales! Books, song, craft, and snack plus time for puzzle and play. Library dogs will "read" on March 10th.

Homeschool at the Library

Join us at the East Parker County Library this Friday afternoon for our monthly Homeschool at the Library session. We will be learning about African American Explorers and Artists, including polar explorer Matthew Henson and painter Alma Thomas, as well as doing some of our own winter science and printmaking art!

Join us on Fridays for puzzle and play, books, craft, songs, and snack! Storytime start at 10:30AM. Our February/March theme is Fractured Fairytales!

Book Club at the Library

Adults! Join us for Book Club! We are reading "The Personal Librarian", a novel that tells the remarkable, little-known story of Belle da Costa Greene, the personal librarian to J. P. Morgan, as well as the first director of the Morgan Library & Museum, from New York Times bestselling author Marie Benedict and acclaimed author Victoria Christopher Murray. This historical fiction novel is on the 2022 Lariat Adult Fiction Reading List for outstanding fiction published during the year that merits special attention from adult readers. Since 2009, the goal of the Lariat Adult Fiction Reading List has been to highlight outstanding fiction that is simply “a pleasure to read.” The book is available in our Parker County Library Association. Book Club will meet on Tuesday, February 7th from 9-10:30AM. Tea and coffee served!

Teens and Tweens: Hot Cocoa and Hot Books!

Middle and High Schoolers: enjoy hot cocoa (and snacks) for an hour as you share your favorite books and must-reads at the East Parker County Library! Plus, offer your input on how the library can best serve you (programming, book selections, volunteer opportunities).
