 ray.\nThis historical fiction novel is on the 2022 Lariat Adult Fiction Re
 ading List for outstanding fiction published during the year that merits s
 pecial attention from adult readers. Since 2009\, the goal of the Lariat A
 dult Fiction Reading List has been to highlight outstanding fiction that i
 s simply “a pleasure to read.” The book is available in our Parker Cou
